GRIT Baseball Summer Camp

Ages 8-11

GRIT Athletics and Coach Single are proud to introduce OBJ Jr. Jays Summer Camp 2024

The camp will be offered for baseball players of all skill levels ages 8-11. Camp will run from 8am to 4pm daily for 5 weeks this summer and will include a combination of indoor and outdoor baseball training with skills development, exciting games and activities, competitive Hittrax experience, and lots of energetic fun to grow and nurture young athletes’ love of baseball.

A DAY AT CAMP

Each day will include a combination of hitting, fielding and throwing development utilizing a combination of GRIT Athletics indoor high performance space as well as 3 afternoons a week outdoors.

COACHING

The camp will be directed by our very own Coach Single utilizing our OBJ skills development program for a combination of energy filled fun and skills development.

CAMPER CAPACITY

Each week has a maximum capacity of 15 campers with a 1:5 ratio of coaches to campers.

SCHEDULE

Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, campers will take the field outdoors for fielding and distance throwing as well as scrimmages and other outdoor games.

The remainder of the week the campers will be indoors at GRIT Athletics utilizing the facility’s high performance space and equipment.

FOOD + HYDRATION

Athletes should bring a packed lunch, snacks and water and will have ample supervised breaks throughout the day for nutrition and hydration between activities.

EQUIPMENT + GEAR

Be sure to bring indoor and outdoor baseball attire, Bat, Glove and Helmet….and always sunblock!
